Paid these huxters thousands of dollars over the years. I sold the car I had a policy on and cancelled the plan that day. A week or so later I get charged for the plan I'd cancelled anyways. I call them to ask what the deal is, and they make some excuse about how it "hadn't caught up with billing" as though all this isn't done instantly via computers these days. Makes me think someone forgot or couldn't be bothered on one or both end. They call corporate and I'm told I'll have it debited back by midnight of that day. I call them to tell them I need it immediately and they shuck responsibility, and say it'll be credited back to me. Fast forward 36 hours, and nothing has been debited. I call again, and they tell me its been mailed to me and that they can't auto-debit anything back to me, and that I'd need to fax or e-mail my agent proof of the draft then they'd cut and mail me a check for that later. Both of these "fixes" rely on them sending me money at their leisure after erroneously charging my account. I ask who I can speak to for a real solution "william" is quite rude, and cuts me off to hang up on me. I call again to be met with the same nonsense about how their is no possible person I can talk to to fix THEIR mistake and get me my money back. A check for the initial amount being mailed to me in 2-5 business days is NOT a solution in any real world. Not including the time it will take for them to process and return any refunds for the overdrafts they caused. I followed their protocols to cancel and they screwed me anyways. I feel robbed, and there is no way to describe this short of thievery. Every month they debited my account when they felt like it, instead of the date I had signed up for auto-debit, and every issue I've had with them has been met with the same level of complete incompetence. In what world is this okay? I'd love to hear what they'd say about me sending them some money eventually to pay for their over-priced garbage plans. They'll never be able to catch up to the fines they've incurred to me and I'll end up having to foot the bill. They even had the nerve to insinuate that they'd only cover "a certain number" of overdrafts that was caused by their incompetence. These people are lucky the justice system is so deeply flawed that your average person can't sue for small claims. They've wasted over 5 hours of my time with this nonsense, every step of the way passing the buck on responsibility, I won't come close to getting compensation for it.

Friendly when you come to pay, incompetent once they have the money. I recommend you AVOID THIS PLACE at all cost. The very first question I asked when I walked in was "can I get insurance with my foreign driver's license". They said "yes, no problem, just pay us the money" - which I did. I even had them write this part into the policy to make sure it was in writing. A month later I received two letters on the same day, saying: "We are happy to welcome you as a customer" and "Your insurance is terminated effective three days from now, b/c you don't have a US license". Note that I am on a temporary exchange visitor visa and it is perfectly LEGAL for me to drive on the foreign license (as confirmed by DMV of NM). They cancelled the insurance anyway based on their made-up reason (and despite their initial promise and the fact that it was written in the policy). And they cashed in on the early cancellation fee - even though the cancellation was on their behalf, not mine. I can only suspect that they will scam other people the same way if they can make up a reason to do so.
