Do not bring your business nor money here, he presents his self well but is a wolf in sheep's clothing preying on the weak( people who are not to knowledgeable about procedures of contract work)...I do take a bit of blame in this situation by trusting a person with a license would have some type of integrity....I am a single mom of two saved enough to purchase a house that needed work,  I chose this person as a contractor because I thought he would be a safe person since I knew him previously but never did business with him. He ensured me he could do the job in a timely fashion and well. He started work in June and it is now Sept and work is not complete. He is unresponsive to emails, phone calls, and text and lies about ordering things that he has not. Leaving you waiting...he basicly hustled me having me to pay for items(sink, toilets, working material) he needed to use for the project in my house telling me he would pay me back one he got paid from my bank loan, this never happened,  he broke a window(bay window) that's really expensive to fix. He has been beating around the bush about replacing it, and to date there is still a board in my window,  his tile work in my bathroom looks like a DIY project not what you expect from a licensed paid contractor...he was suppose to purchase new smoke detectors and hang in each room, he only hung three but they were the old smoke detectors that were already on the property he moved from one spot to another to make it appear he did what he was suppose to, he uses the old material when he is suppose to buy and replace with new, I caught him putting old insulation the had mold on it (because it was a real bad water damage in the kitchen) back into the wall to be sealed up, i should have went with my instincts right at this moment but he lied his way out of it and I gave him a chance and now...please do not use his services and someone please tell me what actions I can take against him...I feel like he took advantage of me and did poor work for me because of my lack of knowledge in home improvement
