We established our dental practice in Fuquay-Varina, July, 1991. Ten years later,
we needed more space.
Our new Dental Home was opened for the care of our patients dental health on January 25, 2002.
Our goal is to provide the best possible service so that our patients may always enjoy a Healthy Smile !

Dr McKenzie has been my dentist since the mid/late 90's. Even though I've moved a couple of times I will still go to Fuquay although it's a 30-40 minute drive. The staff are always friendly and pleasant. I usually leave with a good laugh from a Pam story.

Id like to thank Dr. McKenzie and his staff for being so genuine and gentle every time I sit in the chair. They’re always so patient and kind to me., as well as always having my best interest in mind. Thanks again !

After moving back to Fuquay two years ago I finally decided a month ago to switch my dentist and my childrens dentist today Fuquay for convenience reasons. I went to Dr McKenzie first. Then decided to take my kids. I have never had to go to the back with my kids at a dentist since they were four years old. They have never had any issues. Oct 25,2016 I took my nine years there for a filling. I heard the worse scream from her. I ran back and he had given her the numbing medicine. This wasn't her first time getting it but the first time she has ever screamed like that. Myself and the assistant who was really nice calmed her down while he had left out. After he felt like she was numb he began to do the work. He began to drill and she screamed again and tried to get up as she pushed his hand. Instead of being the family doctor as he claimed to be he jumped up yanked off his mask and said she needs to go somewhere else because I'm not dealing with this and started to walk out the room. My daughter is crying hard and he had no concern. I was pissed highly I told him that he didn't talk to mine like that. I told him he has been practicing long enough to know better. He said well she can just go elsewhere. I told him and that's not a problem but if he felt like he couldn't do the job then he should talk to me professionally and not jumping up and acting a fool. I told him he had better not say another word to me. He threatened to call the police on me. As if I cared about that. I told him I would dial the number for him. Still no concern for my daughter. I let him know he had not heard the last of me. The staff was still very pleasant and asked if he had started on the tooth because she could not just leave if he had. I told them he had not and I got my daughter who was being comforted by the dental assistant and crying because she thought I was going to jail. He does not need to be in practice. He is obviously getting too old for this business and do not need to claim to be a family practice if he can't practice on families. He will no longer get any of my service nor a recommendation from my dog if I had one. I hope this post helps someone to avoid the foolishness of this person.

I've been going to Dr McKenzie problem over 6 yrs. I am very happy with Dr. McKenzie and his staff in the office. They all do wonderful work on your teeth. Just let me tell you a little story about Dr McKenzie on how wonderful he is, Just about two weeks ago one of my crowns came off on a Sunday morning while I was flossing my teeth, and I almost swallowed it. I was scared half to death. So I call Dr McKenzie early on a Sunday morning and he answer the phone. I explained to him what happen and he calm me down and assured me it was going to be all right and talked me through on how to replace it back on until I could see him on a Monday. Now how many dentist do you know that answer there phone on a Sunday and will help you out.My boyfriend could not believe that a dentist would ever do that. So he now has changed over to Dr. McKenzie as his dentist too.

I have been going to Dr Mackenzie for a number of years and have had nothing but a great experience!!! He does excellent work, and is a perfectionist. He wants your dental health and his work to be as perfect as he can possibly make it!. He is always friendly both in and out of the office and takes an interest in what is going on in his patients lives.
