Made an online purchase of a washer and dryer. Set up a delivery date and time. They no showed, so I called over a handful of times and for each time besides one, I was put on hold for around 20 mins (very difficult to communicate with a representative)... Finally got through and they had come to figure out the items I ordered weren't in stock... I told them to just go ahead and cancel and refund the whole order. Very disappointed with my overall experience. I do not plan to shop with JC Penney again.

I walked up to the Jewelry department and there were no associates around finally I saw one who began helping a customer who just walked up to the counter. I waited and once they were done the Manager or whoever she was left. A different jewelry Associate began to help another customer, once again I waited until finally both associates were available. They both walked off and NEITHER one of them asked to to help me in what I was there for. I already knew what I wanted I was ready to purchase the item, but I have never been ignored like that I. Any department store ever. They lost my business and I will be a happy customer elsewhere

Pretty typical department store. Not bad in terms of jc penny but not great either. Some parts are very disorganized. Men's under shirts are really hard to navigate because sizes are not organized at all. But it is the only place to get Stafford undershirts, which I like the most.

An amazing place, Staff are cool. They are always helpful. They are always have discounts and coupons.
