Updated review: My first review was 3 stars, but on my recent visit I was happy when a salesperson actually asked me if she could help me. 😀 I was heading to the men's big & tall section. She told me they moved it then took me to it's new location. I appreciated her effort and time she saved me looking for it on my own. I was so impressed that I forgot to get her name. But it's these little things that means a lot to me and other older people that grew up on customer service. I really like Penney's big & tall department. I always find something to purchase, and they usually have great sales and good clearance racks of clothing. 🙄

Very unhappy with my customer service at the sandusky ohio jcpenny store. Lynn was my associate. She was grumpy and unpleasent. Secondly I had items to return that did not have a receipt because they were gift. Shoes that I saw on sale were originally $52 but we're on sale for $20. She could only give me $8 a piece. I returned 2 brand new pairs of shoes for less than they were selling them on the floor. They were horribly under staffed. Took me a long time to find an associate and then the left and I had to wait for Lynn who was beyond rude. Will not return.

Ordered online and had ship to store....NEVER again will i do that. First the tracking information showed I did not have any items to track, and when i call the store they say they will call me back and NEVER do.

Just came out of the Sandusky, Ohio J. C. Penny store. I have have never seen a Penny men's dept. so sloppy and under staffed! There were tables piled high with partially folded shirts, shirts and pants on the floor and isles blocked with carts and displays. I shopped for a while and only saw one sales person and one cashier in men's. Prices were high and then sales signs everywhere reducing prices to what they should be. Walmart stores are far better kept than this store. Sad!
