Very nice experience, were were picked up from our hotel in the business district. And dropped off...that alone was worth the price they charge. We saved some money using the coupon found in the New Orleans visitors guide. Our Captain was Jason he was very kind and knowledgeable we got to see alot of alligators and birds and plant life native to the bayou. On the boat they have a restroom and they sell salty and sweet snacks as well as bottled water, all at very low cost bring cash, another family had brought their lunch on board and the captain had no issues with that. Next time I will do that as our tour was at 2pm with a pick up at 12:30. The gift shop has some cool alligator gift ideas. The ladies at the register are so kind and sweet.

Why are you even reading this review? There aren't that many swamp tours and Jean Lafitte has the game on lock and that's because they do a great job. I took my parents here because it's such a quintessentially touristy thing to do in New Orleans but was just blown away by how much I enjoyed it. We did a 4 PM tour on a Friday so it was a fairly empty boat and the weather was nice and I just really enjoyed being out on the water and looking at how pretty the Louisiana natural wildlife is. We saw a fair number of gators on our tour and Capt. Dave our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Honestly a swamp tour here is a great experience for anyone - tourist or local.

An excellent experience in New Orleans. This is a must see when you're in new Orleans. The boat ride was so much enjoyable. They take you through the swamps and we even saw a few alligators during our trip. We even got to build a baby gator. Loved the experience. Would definitely recommend out to anyone and everyone visiting new Orleans.

We took this tour with my family. Their was 6 of us. Let me tell you this was the absolute highlight of our trip! We took the smaller air boat that holds 10 people. CAPT'N KELLY was nothing short of a spectacular guide. He was full of personality and knowledge of the area. He stopped to let all of us get all the pictures we wanted. We really enjoyed him and this tour. I would recommend this tour to anyone. Also, the 4 other passengers on our boat definitely enjoyed it as much as we did.! We must have seen at least a dozen gators or more. Got some amazing pics! Thanks CAPT'N KELLY!!

We didn't know which tour to take but decided to take the small airboat tour to have a closer one on one with guide. Our tour guide Cameron was the best as he made it a fun and hilarious trip as he suprised us with the little alligator and my mom wouldn't let it go with the million questions she had. I would definitely go again with this company and if you get Cameron as your tour guide, expect to have a blast with him, nothing but class.
