Have to second what most have said.  Nice building, but beyond that: judges/magistrates are unprepared with the facts of the case, haven't done the background readings and rely on attorneys to bring them up to speed (magistrate actually said this; its in the transcript).  The automated maze in the phone system: if you're lucky enough to fight your way out you get referred to another maze and it just repeats.  Good luck finding a human being to talk to.  But that said, it's the state government.  What are you going to do? Go to one of their competitors?  And they know this, with predictable results.

Lawyer up & fight hard against your constitutional rights in this county as the local corruption runs deep due to both corporate & county corruption!

Self help desk was very rude and unhelpful. Made me feel rushed and they had negative attitudes. Victim Witness family tree was very kind and helped me with everything I needed.

I cannot echo how bad this place is as everyone already has.  Be prepared as a "Not Guilty" plea will earn you nothing but a guilty until proven innocent stance.  My pre-trial judge should be in a Federal courtroom for failing to uphold his duties as a judge.  All they care about is convictions and money.  Absolutely no justice to be found her.  Every person (or at a minimum the so called DA and pre-trial judge for my case should be held in federal court for trial.) The evidence was spun, the judge colluded with the DA, and none of the actual facts and evidence were ever examined by this so called judge. My case should have been a pre-trial dismissal and a subsequent arrest to the person who falsified the police report in the beginning. All the "discovery" evidence was in my favor.  Instead they attempted scare tactics, pre-trial supervision (fancy word for probation), and anything to try to convict an innocent person.   Cost me 3 months of time, emotional trauma,  and $7,000 in legal fees to have my case dismissed at the motions hearing by a different judge.

Justice isn't digging into my pocket. Something that should have been thrown out of court simply based on he/say she say BS. This BS went all the way to the trial date before they acceted an RR3 class, then they dropped the whole 8point ticket. Unacceptable. Be prepared for these greedy dirtbags to dig into your wallet. Anything to perpetuate their BS. I mean just look at the courthouse. A system that is clearly beyond its means. So with that they have to steal all they can from anyone they can... They have to pay for that courthouse somehow.

 If you did NOTHING wrong, stick-up for yourself, don't concede to a system of worthless, especially if you did NOTHING wrong. Looks like I won this one. But cost me over $600 given the class and lawyer. That was also a buddy fee from my lawyer. What a joke.

 So if this is my only recourse... Here is one star, you ass-h0le'$ earned that. Honestly I wish I could give jeffco zero stars. But heres a spoon jeffco kindly eat my a$$.
