Horrible experience!!! The DA lady does NOT work with you, even if you have a CLEAN driving record. I asked why I did not get a Plea bargain for a 8 point reckless driving ticket with NO evidence on me and the DA said "ma'am its either your guilty or you can walk through those doors to set your trial date" which is what I had to do. From there I was even HARASSED by the judge (John Stipech) who was questioning me right away as I was walking into the room if "I was a Sergent?!" and "Why em I wearing this emblem if I'm not in the military!?" --- because I was wearing a gold necklace that came with my dress that apparently LOOKED like a Sergent symbol from the military to this Judge. As embarrassing as it was, I told the judge right there in front of everyone "Your honor this necklace is attached to my dress which I purchased at a clothing store". The judge just sat there giving me a dirty look and immediately started whispering to the gentleman next to him. After this whole ordeal and me having to reschedule my trial date once because the cops were not going to be there and hiring an attorney they finally ended up giving me a plea bargain. Ridiculous!!

My jury was taken from me. The DA was drunk on power and the Judge didn't ask any questions about the obvious discrepancies in the witnesses stories. I will never live in Westminster ever again because of the trauma inflicted upon me from the Westminster Municipal Courthouse.
