Really wonderful food. We went for a late lunch . The restaurant was empty. As we sat and enjoyed our food the place filled up. We had a wonderful attentive waitress Dyna. Sweet , funny and knowledgeable. We had pastrami sandwiches and wonderful desserts.

We have a yearly tradition to go to Encino’s Jerry’s after treat-or-trick. Usually, they are not busy on Halloween night, but tonight they were packed. Waiters were running non stop, but no one was helping us and we were hungry. After some time we got up and were ready to leave. All of the sudden, the restaurant manager comes to us and apologizes for the wait and asks us to stay... She took our order and personally brought all our dishes (6 different ones) within 10-15 mins and kept apologizing for the situation (which by the way was out of her control). I have never seen such service in top 5 stars restaurants. We were blown away by the commitment and warmth of this manager. This was the best service I have experienced.

A SFV classic, I grew up going to Jerry's as a kid. Although it appears less customers frequent the establishment, the quality of the food has remained. Staff are very friendly and attentive, my review may be slightly biased as you tend to care for stuff you grew up with.

Wonderful! The most succulent and delicious lox eggs n onions we've ever had! Moist, flavorful, great portion. Fruit cup on the side was perfection, nicely cut pieces, light sweetness; crispy potato pancake with applesauce and fresh baked rye bread with butter topped off a fantastic meal. Always great service.
