I had to file a claim when two pieces of jewelry were stolen. Everyone from Jewelers Mutual was very committed to helping me resolve this. The police were less than helpful but this was not a factor in filing my claim - Jewelers Mutual helped me through that process and the replacement of my pieces. I am very grateful to them!

Jewelers Mutual was extremely helpful when I recently called to better understand the overall coverage for our jewelry. The young lady I spoke to provided valuable information in understanding the specifics of our coverage and walked through potential loss scenarios to help me follow how the coverage I hold would be utilized. I have not had to file any claims (fingers crossed), so cannot speak to that process.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. I have had the WORST experience with them. After getting engaged, we decided to insure my ring set through Jewelers Mutual per recommendation of our jeweler. It was an easy set up process. A year later, however, we decided to insure my ring set through a Personal Policies article under our homeowners insurance. This saved us some money. After my new policy was in place, I called JM to cancel. It was easy. Months later I get an additional email saying that my premium was on autopay and would be debited from my account on file. I call and they tell me that in addition to cancelling over the phone, I need a written statement saying I'm cancelling (which was not clear nor was said in any emails about my cancellation).  Why not just send any email or notice after a cancellation call if further action is required? They also asked me to provide proof that I have new insurance. I asked their representative about my previous contact with the company and she could see my cancellation call on file. After sending my written cancellation and my new policy info they requested additional insurance forms. I ended up having to send THREE different forms (all saying the same thing) over a period of two months. And I still have yet to receive confirmation of my cancellation. This has been a nightmare. I expressed my frustration early on in an email and received an "i apologize for the experience you've had trying to cancel your policy" followed by a request for even more documentation.  I can't even imagine having to deal with this company if I had actually needed to use their insurance. Find a different insurer!

Never thought I'd have to file a claim, but I did. Jewelers Mutual was great. They made the process very easy when my engagement ring was lost. After searching from floor to ceiling for over a month trying to figure out where my cat may have chased it or if it had landed in the trash, we moved forward with a claim. The process was super simple and our jeweler worked with Jewelers Mutual to address the claim. A year later, my original ring was found and I'm now returning it. Now too, they've made it super simple. Hate to think I replaced it when I didn't need to, but I couldn't imagine being without my ring for over a year wondering if it was lost forever. Thank you Jewelers Mutual! Appreciate you!
