The Artists
Julie and Emmanuel meet over twenty years ago when they were both chosen artist in a jewelry show at a contemporary gallery here in San Diego. A few years later they met again when Julie started working at the jewelry store that Emmanuel was already working at. They worked together side by side for over 5 years until Emmanuel went on to open a jewelry store in La Jolla. Julie stayed on at the jewelry store working on her own line of jewelry and building up her clientel. Through the years the two stayed in touch and collaborated on various jewelry prodjects and design contests. Having simular ideas,tastes, and visions Julie and Emmanuel decided to open a jewelry store and gallery that was different from all the rest. At Jewels on 5th you are more than a client, you are our partner, a collaborator in creating a unique piece of jewelry. With over 50 years of jewelry experience, our store is owned and operated by Master Goldsmith Emmanuel Himmelberger and Graduate Jeweler, Metalsmith, and Artist Julie Harris. We offer jewelry that is engineered, manufactured, and finished all under our roof.
