About

The Jewish Community Center of Paramus/Congregation Beth Tikvah (JCCP/CBT) is a full service Conservative synagogue located in Northern Bergen County, New Jersey.

Story

We are proud to announce that Congregation Beth Tikvah in New Milford has joined with us. This represents a new chapter for the our synagogue.

We are a rarity among Conservative synagogues in that we offer both Traditional and Egalitarian services. It is among the center's tenets to foster a sense of community, and its many groups contribute to that sense. We have very active committees including Sisterhood, Men’s Club, Young Jewish Families, Community Affairs and Youth among others.
Our newest group “Bergen Tribe” is committed to giving 20-30 year old young adults the opportunity to meet on a regular basis to network and enjoy social activities.

Mission

We strive to foster a welcoming religious, educational and social community that promotes and encourages reverence for Torah, the observance of mitzvot and Jewish tradition, and support of the State of Israel

Products

We offer a dues option program for single and married adults under 39 years old.

The JCCP/CBT believes in giving our children a strong Jewish education. Our well respected and award winning Hebrew School, which educates our children from ages four through Bar/Bat Mitzvah.

Many of our members call the JCCP/CBT their “second home”. Our large pool of volunteers spend many hours preparing our weekly Shabbat Kiddushes, monthly Shabbat dinners, organizing social and religious events, and planning for our future. We offer something for everyone…and we hope we can make it your second home as well.
