I've only been here once, and stopped by while driving through Virginia. It's in a pretty neat little nook of the city and the aesthetics inside fit well with the street in my opinion. I think Jimmy John's subs are higher quality than other places, like Subway, and taste much better. The bread is super crumbly though.

The interior of the shop was definitely "cozy" and by that, I mean pretty small. But as long as it isn't super crowded, I'd be happy to stop and eat inside again. They're pretty fast at making the subs too!

Work and live close to this place, happen to come here often, usually pleasant experience

Today happened to be a very different situation. I thought I lost my wallet while I was working and happened to be a little frazzled/unnerved. I had lost a lot of time looking for it and decided to just get lunch here again. The boy adjacent to the woman working the register was unbelievably rude to my face while they were preparing the food I had ordered. I could audibly here laughter and rude remarks, and even the other staff was growing impatient with him. I heard to woman behind the counter tell him to stop multiple times. I had just been in a very distressing situation, and I think he thought I came across as on drugs. Instead of just making my sandwich and sending me along, he actively choose to make me as uncomfortable as possible by making fun of me to his peers literally behind my back. I heard everything he said, turned around, and then heard him say "see he didn't hear anything I said" to his coworkers. I will not be coming back to this location until this man no longer works here. He had blue eyes, medium length brown hair, and a generally unkempt demeanor. 

Otherwise, a quick place to get lunch or food after a night of drinking.

First time ever ordering there. We ordered 2 sandwiches.  #11 with bacon & #12. We paid for bacon but got none.  They said they would redeliver another with bacon.  Waited over an hour and still no replacement (they wanted the one without bacon back so left it sit downstairs with security because they never showed after 1/2 hour). The #12 is supposed to come with avocado.  Not even a tiny bit of avocado was on it.  That was the only reason I ordered the #12!  The best they offered as compensation for a wasted #11 was a 5 dollar credit.  Great!  The sandwich cost over $10 and had to be thrown out for sitting out so very long waiting on a replacement that never came.  I do not recommend this location!!!

This is the best Jimmy John's in Richmond all the employees are kind and friendly. They know what I want every time I come in. Kat and Jamie make the best Unwitches. I literally eat there everyday ( sometimes 2 times) I love Jimmy John's
