Mrs. Melisa was very rude to my children. We went to purchase Outdoor Fabric for my Bags and to see if we can find Foam Fighting Swords for a school play. I needed to purchase around $200 swords. This was going to be use by the characters in the play and the teacher wanted to give them as a souvenir to the children in the audience. To bad I didn't get to purchase them because while I was doing some math my children where picking the swords from the rack like I told them and Mrs. Melisa told them rudely to leave the swords alone. To put them back. My children asked why and she said if you are not going to purchase you shouldn't be touching them. This got me so angry. My kids put the swords back and I told her that if they are doing something wrong to please tell me. She doesn't have the right to tell them anything. I'm their mother and not her. Specially when they aren't doing anything wrong. If we are going to purchase something we need to grab it, look at it, imagine if it would work for what you need it and make a decision to purchase or not. Well, I told her that because her rudeness I'm not buying anything. (No even the fabric that I fall in love with) I told my kids to come with me and we left the store. My daughter was a bit sad cause she was going to buy a stuffed animal she liked. My kids are 14 and 15 years old by the way. I guess my lesson here is to keep buying at the 4610 S. Cleveland Ave. Store instead of this one at 15201 N Cleveland Ave. Joann needs to send Mrs. Melisa to a people skill seminar or classes to learn how to behave more professional. Thanks.

Showed up 10 minutes before closing time on Sunday which is 6pm to pick up something really quick. I walked up to locked doors. I called and asked at what time do they usually close on Sundays and she said 6pm. I went on to explain that I walked up to the doors and they were locked and she said “mhm yes”. I’ve been going here since 2011 and have never had anyone been that rude to me. I will not be going here again, I’d rather drive to hobby lobby which is 28 minutes out my way. Than the 10 minutes it takes me to get to Joanns on Cleveland.

JOANN Fabrics has been my most reliable for anything I needed for all my sewing and projects over many many years. If you need it JOANN'S has it!

The store has anything I need. If I am sewing, doing arts and crafts, patterns, yarns. They have great sales. The people that work there are awesome.
