They have a lot of good quality tools you just have to watch prices. Some seemed a little over priced compared to other retailers. But really nice they have just about anything you'll need in one place!

Bought thousands of dollars in products over the last 20 years, never returned anything. Bought a $2000 Honda generator inverter last week with cash. Took it back, 140 miles round trip because the fuel economy was poor and was making a popping sound while running. Kenneth the manager told me "We normally don't take these back once they have had gas or oil in them" yet, he told me when I bought it 3 days earlier "It has 3 year warranty". He was upset I was returning it, so I said, "I will buy the other generator inverter as long as it gets better economy than just a plain gas model". He snapped and said in a malicious way, "I'M NOT SELLING YOU ANOTHER GENERATOR! I thought, we'll I will never buy anything here again since this is what you have to go through in a legitimate return. Very unprofessional. However, Jason was the one who said he would take it back since it had only been 3 days. To me, it shouldn't matter if it's been 2 years 11 months and 30 days. Is it a 3 year warranty or not? Misleading

Purchased a Remington 25cc 2cycle pole saw, used it one time in the middle of trimming a palm tree it stopped working, I went ba k to the N Ft Myers store. I was given the names of 4 service centers. When I called them I was told by all 4 centers that they do not do warranty work for Northern. I went back to Northern they said for $10.00 they would send the pole saw off for warranty work. I said no. I am not paying for warranty work when I just bought the saw yesterday. I will just stop buying from Northern. I am a contactor and I have purchased a lot of items over the 30 yrs. I have been in business, this being the worst warranty policy.
