We found Jonas through the Dave Ramsey ELP website, and we could not be more pleased with our experience buying a home in Spokane. We knew that we had a definite budget and wanted someone who wouldn't try to talk us into anything we couldn't afford. We are a military family who planned to move there from overseas, and Jonas worked well with us remotely, but I ultimately ended up traveling to the area to house-hunt in person, at his request. It was a good call. He had set us up with a personalized search that showed us houses which met our specific criteria, so I had a good working list to go off of when I arrived. 

Since I spent the better part of two days on a furious search to find our home, I was able to observe the way he operates. We saw a LOT of houses, and he drove me around from place to place, explaining things about the area that I wouldn't have known. He is the definition of thorough! Though he had some calls that had to be taken while I toured homes, I never once felt like I was being ignored or like another client was more important. He's got the kind of personality that makes you feel like you are a priority, and I bet everyone he spoke with while I checked out the closets or whatever would say the same thing.

The house we ended up purchasing wasn't even listed on the market when he took me to see it. The couple selling the home had looked at listing it a year prior, but put it off while their new home was being built. Jonas knew what we were looking for and reached out to them, explaining our situation and that it would be my only chance to see it since we lived out of the country. The owners agreed, the timing worked, and the rest is history. I know I made that sound short and sweet, but it was actually The Deal of the Century. Who sells a house that isn't even on the market?! JONAS DOES! The man is a master of his craft.

Fast forward: The military is totally the boss of us, and our orders to the Spokane area were canceled. Talk about a total bummer. That said, we knew this was the home for us and had already made plans to spend the rest of our lives there, so we went ahead and bought the house anyway. Again, because he is an ELP (and a decent person who understands our financial goals) we went through our finances with him and addressed all of the "what if?" scenarios. He didn't want us to make an irresponsible decision, and we appreciate that he truly kept our best interest in mind, and he was always straightforward throughout the entire process.

Jonas has wonderful professionals that he works closely with on a regular basis, and everything from securing our financing to the inspection and appraisal, etc. went smoothly. It even went smoothly when we had to let them know that we would be renting out the home (which changes the terms of the loan and insurance, FYI) and they had to do it all again in a much shorter time frame. When we closed on the home, Jonas reached out to us and helped us get everything set up with a property management company, which was certainly above and beyond his duties as a realtor. 

I don't personally know much about real estate, but apparently the market in that area is insane. I know this to be true because it seemed like every time we saw a house (online) that we loved, it was under contract before we had a chance to get the ball rolling on making an offer. It was frustrating at times, but that's the nature of the business. In the end, we were able to purchase a home that I think our family will enjoy for decades to come. Homes are selling like hotcakes in Spokane, and I would recommend having Jonas' guidance, experience, and expertise on your side if you are looking to buy or sell. The way he maintains relationships is what allowed him to help us find our house, and he wouldn't be nearly as successful without that particular trait.

We look forward to moving into our forever home, and we wouldn't have found if it hadn't been for Jonas! We will gladly refer people to him for as long as he remains in business.

Horrible experience, did not tell the truth, wanted a "quick" sell and then delayed taking down the sign, moving the lock box and transfer to our new realtor.  Run the other direction.  Lacks integrity and customer focus.

Jonas was an excellent real estate agent to work with. He navigated us through the process of buying and selling a home, and made a confusing and stressful experience worthwhile. He is quick to respond, is Dave Ramsey endorsed, and seems to always be available for any issue, big or small via phone. I would highly recommend him to my friends and family.
