I always enjoy this park, it’s great for walks and seeing all types of nature. Today, I took the Ranger/Volunteer led 2 hr kayak paddle tour. It was wonderful, the gentleman doing the tour I think his name was Dan a many year volunteer was so knowledgeable . Not just about the park but the history of the area, plants and wild life, etc. If you have an opportunity to do this tour, it’s the last Saturday of the month, call the science center to sign up. You may bring your own kayak or rent one. This is just so worth doing.

Beautiful park displaying Florida's varying ecosystems and biodiversity. If you are " on the fence," head on over. Pleasant staff and a wonderfully maintained park await. You won't be disappointed. Can't wait to go back! Rent a boat if you're able. Great times at John Dickinson State Park. I also recommend watching the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean, which is short five minute drive away. Absolutely beautiful.

Very nice park with lots to do. Horseback riding, mountain bike and hiking trails canoe/kayak/motorboat or guided tour on 60 person pontoon boat to Trapper Nelson primitive camp. Has a really nice visitor exhibit center. Lots of picnic areas and areas for large groups. Very nice gift shop/camp store with outdoor cafe. Camping available from tents to giant RV's. They also have 9 cozy cabins. Great place for day trip or long stay. Towns nearby are really nice and lots of places to eat. Gorgeous beaches are 15 min drive.

Fun for a whole day! I visited this park and loved everything. It's really big, with many places to go. I did the nature trail and couldn't be happier to be in such a peaceful place, listed to the wind blowing in the trees and the birds. There are plenty of trails and you can also rent bikes, kayaks, canoes, etc. I also tried the pulled pork platter at Kry's trailer and it was delicious. I recommend to everybody...

I love this park! GREAT place to camp, boat, picnic, mountain bike, horseback ride and hike...but the list goes on. It also has a lookout you can climb and overlook miles from the highest natural point in South Florida. Check out the website. So much to do in the park and out. Jupiter lighthouse is just down the road and the beach, lots of great places in the area to do fun memorable things.
