This might be my favorite Mexican restaurant on the north side of Houston! I’ve been to the sawdust location and this one was spectacular as well! Liz was a great server, attentive and had great recommendations. We had the chips & salsa, lunch steak fajitas, and lunch Birria tacos. And a spicy margarita Everything was to die for! Seriously! The Birria tacos were 10/10, along with the jalapeño spicy marg. The margarita had a nice savory flavor to it instead of the sweet you normally get with a fruit flavor.
Excellent staff. Been twice, once for dine-in and once for takeout. Highly recommend this place. Dine-in... Nice place, very friendly staff, very good food. Favorite dish: street tacos, try the cochinita pibil, you won't be disappointed. Takeout... I came back to order meat by the pound for a party. Talked with one of the managers, who was extremely helpful. We talked through some logistics and helped me better prep for the party. They gave me a very good price for the meat, given the skyrocketing prices. The day of pickup, the food was packaged extremely well and the young lady who closed out the check was friendly and helpful.
Pretty good not bad at first.The quail could have been seasoned a bit more and the salsas with more flavor but it was ok. After I found a hair in my food I threw it all away
Good food. I enjoy this restaurant above most mexican restaurants coming from California and disliking the texmex. This place has good cheese enchiladas and margaritas. Their special was amazing.
My new favorite restaurant. I NEVER like Mexican restaurants because it's never as good as my dad's cooking, but this place put Dad to shame. I've had 6 different meals there and they're ALL fire. The staff is so friendly, the cooks are phenomenal, and the vibe of the place is chill as hell. I absolutely love this place. If you don't order the flan to finish it up you're missing out. It is incredible.
Julio’s is amazing! They catered for our wedding. The food was incredible!!! They were very patient with us and friendly as well, not to mention the pricing could not be beat! If we lived closer this place would be a regular stop in for us! Highly recommend! Thank you for being apart of our big day
This place is freaking awesome! I had the Birria tacos and my boyfriend had the fajita chicken enchiladas. Both were absolutely delicious. Definitely going to be my next go-to Mexican food spot! The karaoke is an added bonus. : employees are also very friendly and attentive! 10/10 and we’ll be back!
The menu was very rich - I was a bit confused. We picked several meals and drinks at random and each of them was really good!Food: 5/5
First time here. My hubby and I came here after reading some reviews in a local Foodie group. We were NOT disappointed! The beef fajitas were tender and flavorful, as were the puffy tacos. Even the rice was awesome and I rarely eat the rice at a Mexican restaurant. Our server was Carlos and he was amazing! We will definitely be back to try some of the other menu items.
Tried out Julio’s Mexican Grill for the first time today with my husband. We both had the Burris Beef Tacos which are only available on Saturdays & Sundays .. DELICIOUS!!!! The wait staff are very friendly and service was great! Our Waiter suggested we try this And it was out of our “Comfort Zone “ we always eat the Tex - Mex.. but we went for it and so glad we did!
