A great place to stay. Rooms are nice. Staff nice. Close to golf if you like. Nice views. A bit out of the way but well worth it. Sonoran museum not far. The resort offers horseback riding but you need to drive a bit to get to it. Has a very nice pool area, slides, lazy river. Take a stroll in the evening you may come across some deer.

We made the Catalina BBQ Restaurant at the Marriott Starr Pass the end of our hike and let me tell you were we treated well.  There was a couple of minor issues last year when we did the same hike but nothing worth mentioning and the Manager remembered us when we called to make reservations again this time. Needless to say we were treated like Royalty. The server and service was one of the best I've ever experienced and the food was incredible. What a fitting end to a great hike. Will definitely make the effort to return there again. Thanks to the Manager and staff for taking ownership for the minor insignificant issues of last time and making this visit an extraordinary experience.

I had stayed in this hotel previously for a hiring event and loved my stay and all that it offers. I recently attended to enjoy it's greatest feature, hiking. It is a very lovely place to just go and enjoy the scenery and nature surrouding it and it was a lovely visit like always. My stay was also great, room very clean, staff very attentive. Everything from this resorts screams quality.

Beautiful location! The room was wonderful. Mara was a server at our conference, she was very observant to my special food needs . She with her manager took it upon themselves to be sure I was taken care of without me even asking. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you, Mara.

Wanted to really like this place but too many issues for a hotel of this caliber, although the staff were helpful and friendly throughout the ten night stay. A few of the major issues...Their main restaurant was closed. The TV in our room just stopped working but they did move us thankfully (need something to keep the baby entertained and fighting jet lag). The elevator to the parking garage was down for a couple days which normally wouldn't be an issue but with a baby and a stroller it made it difficult to take the stairs. Compared to the other JW properties I've stayed at around the world, this one is currently at the bottom unfortunately. However, I will return and give it another chance.
