This place exceeded my expectations. Our room was very spacious in the bed was  comfortable. There are very nice paved walking past throughout the property surrounded by imaculate landscaping. I would highly suggest this property to anyone with mobility issues. Not only is the resort full of wheelchair friendly pathways but they also have complimentary golf cart shuttle service. Our particular room had a amazing view of both sunrise and sunset over the mountains. It is located in an affluent area and for the price I would consider this a value filled experience.

We got this place on some hot wire deal, but I would be pretty disappointed if I paid $400+ to stay here. The place looks very old and dated. It just lacks energy. First they didn't have keys for us, the room smelled a bit like smoke, the screen door was broken, the screen had a hole in it, the bathroom moulding needed some upgrading, etc. They were not able to address our issue or correct it very quickly. We spoke to the manager and he was not super concerned about our concerns. We were promised a "free gift" for our troubles that didn't materialize:) Not that we are in need of a free gift, I was just curious to see what they would come up with!

On the plus side, the pool area is quite nice.

Overall, this place does not deserve the Westin name. Don't stay here unless someone else is paying for it.  Find one of the other resorts nearby and stay there instead.

The Westin La Paloma is one of Tucson's large resorts with hundreds of rooms spread over extensive grounds. I was there for a business meeting, and the facilities are great for that, with meetings rooms and a restaurant on the property. It has spectacular views of the mountains to the north. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff is welcoming towards guests. I didn't have time to sample the resort amenities so I can't speak to those. One thing I didn't like is how far the resort is from anything in Tucson - it would be a hike to walk to a restaurant off the property.

This place is a must to stay at if you are in Tucson. Right at the bottle of the Catalina Foothills. The front desk help is fabulous. The buffet worker Aaron is the best. He is always busy. Our room was over looking the Catalina Foothills. Several pools, hot tubs, and great fitness center that is open 24/7.. also a Lap Pool. Just wonderful.

Great rooms.  Great views.  Welcome staff is outstanding.  Don't even get me started about the Heavenly Beds ©.  2nd Westin we've stayed in, second Westin that exceeds our expectations.
