K&B True Value has been serving the Annapolis community since 1974, providing convenience above all other things. How do we provide convenience? By having the right products at the prices for your projects, with the best people providing expert trusted advice, and being in the right place - conveniently located at the intersection of Forest Drive and Bay Ridge Avenue.

Ken and Bobbie Niefeld started "The Hardware House" in 1974, in a small store on the west side of Forest Drive, near Quiet Waters Park. In 1986, the Niefelds moved into the current location, on the east side of Forest Drive. In an effort to identify with the True Value brand name, the Niefelds adopted the trade name, "K&B True Value" in 2005. The store has always been a part of the True Value cooperative since 1974. True Value provides K&B True Value with access to thousands of additional items so, if a customer wants something that we don't carry, we can usually place a special order and get the product in 3-5 days at no additional cost.

In 2004, Jared Littmann, the Niefeld's son-in-law, joined the team after a career as an an engineer and lawyer practicing environmental law. In 2007, Jared and his his wife, Marlene Niefeld, bought a majority interest in the business. Together with Ken, Bobbie, and the staff at K&B True Value, they continue the same ideals that K&B True Value has always been known for: the right products, at the right prices, with an expert and knowledgeable staff, at a convenient location, plus a renewed focus on environmentally friendly the products and practices.

We are fortunate on many levels. Crammed into this location are over 28,000 different products so that we usually have whatever you need to start, complete, or fix your project or problem. Our staff is extremely dedicated, loyal, and knowledgeable, with over 200 years of collective hardware experience. The crew is extremely talented in adding the newest and latest items, and not just the same things you find else.
