Great camp ground for families, especially if you own property in the Kiamichi and need a base camp. They have a couple cabins and a a few friendly dogs running around as well as some chickens. You can get your 30 foot or pop up camper in there or just throw up a tent. They have hook ups for elec water/sewer. Also they have sewer dump for $5. Friendly folks down on the Kiamichi!

A quiet place off the beaten path. Just staying over night but our host was helpful. River just a few steps away. Will return when the weather is warmer.

I went with my family on a warm day during the off-season. We just wanted to swim for a couple of hours. After an hour, the owner came on his four- wheeler. He was, of course followed by his dogs. Once he parked and we came out of the water, he pulled out some gold pans and show us how to pan for gold. When he was finished, he took his dogs and left. While he was gone, my son found a "nugget" the size of a pencil lead. I didn't think the boy would ever stop dancing! I have been to many campgrounds and never has any of the employees or owners been as intuitive as that. I've recommended them to several people with kids.

Called to reserve a cabin, the man was very rude and said he didn't know if he had any cabins available and he wouldn't check because it was Sunday and he was wanting to eat dinner. He could of worked with me and called me back but no. Terrible service. He also needs to separate his business line and personal line that is how he treats people asking about his business.
