We went camping here this weekend (October 27-29) and had an excellent stay. Wanda (the camp hostess) was super. The restroom were very clean and in great shape. The camper site was clear and very close to the lake shore. The lake is low right now due to ongoing maintenance on the dam but that only leaves much more open shoreline to walk. Those are covered with many quartz crystals of all colors. We'll definitely be making a trip again next year when they open back up. Fishing was slow (bank bound) but we a still caught several perch and 2 small mouth bass. Sunday morning numerous fish were on top quite often but alas we don't have a boat.

I drove all day/night to get there, had 2 spots paid for. Gate was locked for 7 hours when I got there. Never going back.
