We spent 4 days there in July.  There is only one site with electricity but we where the only ones there when we arrived on a Tuesday. Really remote and quite. The trails great trails but the map was not clear and a lot of the trails where not marked at all. So next time I'm bringing the gps for sure. Also some trails are pretty challenging so make sure your winch is working properly before you go down a hill you can't get back up. It's a great place to get away and ride some trails. Looking forward to going back.

I got there in the afternoon. Thought it was kind of nice. Very quiet, peaceful. As evening approached I discovered the place was very popular with ATV enthusiasts. Several of them riding around the camp through the night. Lots of country music and loud drinking. No rangers on site.

Now, I realize that sounds like a good time. But if you're looking for a little peace and quiet, get back to nature, just keep that in mind...

Been hunting and camping here for 20 years, it's so peaceful and remote. No better place to just camp, get away from everyday bussel .  Abundant wildlife to hunt or observe.

We just spent 4 days here with our daughters ages 7, 4,and 1.  We had an absolute blast! Hiking, searching for wildlife, catching bugs and frogs, and enjoying time around the fire ring. The scenery is very beautiful and the site is well maintained yet still primitive of sorts which is what we like. Though the sites are close together, they are not too close and all the other campers  and camp host were very friendly.

I loved tent camping at Billy Creek Campground.  I arrived by motorcycle around 2 pm Saturday and was lucky to find an available tent site.  Deer hunting season had just opened so there was an occasional rifle blast in the woods across Billy Creek.  The campground is popular with ATV enthusiasts.  They come and go during the day.  At night people settled down and the only sounds were crickets and Billy Creek.  Coyotes sang in the middle of the night but not for very long.  I left the tent fly off and enjoyed seeing stars above the canopy of Pine trees.  It was almost like being back in Georgia.
