Went here for the for the first time for an early morning coffee. The coffee is very high-quality, definitely very similar to what you would find in Europe, especially in northern countries that take it seriously—like Germany, where I’ve lived. I really love the space…it’s open and bright, and I love the light wood design that makes it feel very airy. I will def be coming here more often. The only reason I gave it minus one star is because the person who was working the front counter didn’t come across as very friendly. I was the only customer and when the person came up to the register it seemed like they were bothered—no smile and I always smile. Another time, that person was walking toward me and our eyes locked, I smiled again. Nothing. Okay…that doesn’t create the best vibe. I ignored it and kept sipping my coffee but maybe someone should tell these Gen-Zers that smiling is good for your emotional and mental health. Love, GenX
Great place for coffee and food. I just tried one of their new items on the menu, the Tonfisk - a wrapped and pressed sandwich on sourdough just like a spicy tuna melt. Amazing! As a Swede this Swedish café will defiantly be my new regular spot from now on!
i have had my fair share of traditional macchiatos and never have i ever had a sour almost sourdough tasting one, by far one of the worst beverages i’ve had, that i couldn’t even finish it. along with the avocado toast.. is everything here just sour?! i get that the toast is sourdough but it is so overpowering! two stars for how cute it is inside but would not recommend these two options unless your into sour espressos and avocado ‍
The salads are absolutely delicious, but very overpriced. Only one vegan salad option. I walked all the way from the other side of downtown today, and when I arrive they had none of the vegan salads available. An were unable to make me one. If this becomes a repeat problem Tthey will likely lose me as a customer. Otherwise their salads are fantastic, and the produce is very fresh. Updated to confirm that this location is constantly out of vegan Kale Buddha Bowls. They literally cannot serve vegan customers at this location without them. Save your time and go to the Wewatta location. Some of us do not have time in our lunch hour to deal with this.
I just went into this place today and hands down my new favorite vanilla latte! The girl who made it out so much love into it and I appreciate that! What a great way to start my day! Thank you!
Overall I really like this place! I've been here a few times as I'm a student at UCD and the science building is right across the street. Their smoothie bowls honestly taste amazing, the only issue I have is that they seem a little small for how expensive they are. I'm a tea nut and I'm personally in love with the tea company that they have all their loose leaf teas from, and they know how to brew different teas properly. I also love that all of their silverware/dishes/to-go cups are compostable, and you can order for here if you want to stay and you'll get glassware. People are always nice! Pricey but good for an occasional treat.
Didn’t get our orders correct because the man taking our order didn’t communicate to the lady cooking properly. They also forgot to bring out our nitro cold brew, we finally had to remind the man after he took and finished 5 other people’s coffee orders. 2 stars because the coffee/smoothie/food was good. The customer service was bad, wish I could decrease my 20% tip I gave up front.
Got a salad that was taste less and bought a can of pineapple juice that tasted expired. Plus when i sat down to eat there the cashier told me there was no forks. Wasted my money.
Favourite coffee in Denver!
