Had a magnificent 1 night stay here with my husband to celebrate our anniversary! The hotel was more than accommodating! Definitely stop at their restaurant the Nickel for food. We only ordered room service for breakfast since they were closed on Sunday’s, super bummed after eating their breakfast Monday morning because it was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed their king corner room with deep soaking tub. Our iron was broken and room service acted quickly to replace it before our night out. I can’t thank this hotel enough for creating a perfect night out to celebrate with my husband. The location is fantastic as well. In the middle of everything. Don’t miss out on staying at this hotel. You won’t be disappointed!
After a stressful day filled with poor service experiences, Nick made our dinner at the bar fabulous, educational and comfortable. Morgan served us breakfast and was very charming. She made us feel appreciated as hotel guests and gave top notch service. The food, beverage and room accommodations, were well suited for the reasonable price. We will definitely be returning! Thank you!
We stayed here on our wedding night in June and I was so excited but it was a bit of a letdown. We were told by the manager he would upgrade us and provide champagne in the room for when we arrived. So kind and unexpected but then we got there and no champagne. Which is fine but we would have brought our own! My husband also asked for some upgrades that he was paying for and they were also not in the room for us. He was disappointed because it was a surprise for me. We decided to buy a robe as a souvenir because it said they would give us a brand new one. When we called down to buy one she told us to take the one from the room that was used but still charged us full price. We decided to do it but just felt kind of odd about it. The balcony while beautiful was super dirty and had no chairs so kind of a bummer. Overall we probably should have stayed somewhere else. The hotel smelt good and was nice but definitely let us down on our wedding night.
Absolutely gorgeous hotel in the heart of downtown Denver. We chose it because of the beautiful architecture! The staff was amazing, so friendly, and attended to our every need. Special thanks to our valet, you made it so easy for us! The Nickel restaurant is conveniently located inside the hotel. Delicious food and a great bar! Thanks so much to all the staff, our stay was perfect!
Came here to celebrate an anniversary and couldn't have had a better stay. This place actually used to be a bank but was converted into a local hotel. You can tell hotel management here puts everything they have into making this a memorable stay. Coming in from Houston, we decided to use a local hotel hoping we would get a more personable and memorable stay. The staff was amazing and put us in their top floor suite with a beautiful out of this world tub and very cool balcony. The room was gorgeous and clean. Something out of a movie to be honest. The views from balcony were amazing and you could see the Rockies in sight. We also got room service from the The Watch downstairs, it was delicious. One of the best hotels I have stood at in all my years of travel. Did not expect to find such hospitality and comfort in Denver.
This was our second time at Hotel Teatro. We have been continually impressed at the level of professionalism and service we have received here. We always felt welcomed, and extremely well treated. We would highly recommend this Hotel experience. The in-house restaurant "Nickel", is also fabulous. The staff there had us feeling like Family. A shout out to Nick at the bar, his humor, level of professionalism, and service absolutely made our night.
My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Teatro. The front desk was super friendly and ensured our room had a pack and play for my son. The rooms are decent sized and feature one of the best bathrooms I've seen in a while. A giant ceramic tub and stand up rainfall shower. The view of the mountains was nice as well. We ordered room service and it was quite fast. The pumpkin pop tart was fantastic, as was the chamomile tea! Rooms: Nice size and very clean. Nearby activities: Near a lot of things in Downtown Denver, as well as all of the theaters. Walkability: It's winter so there is some snowy intersections to deal with, but it's a pretty walkable part of town. Food & drinks: The room service was fantastic and reasonably priced.
We had a great time, the rooms were clean and amazing. Great location and the shower was an amazing rain shower head with great water pressure. My wife loved the tub. We paid for rose petals to be placed down and my wife loved it. They were dried flowers so they made a mess. They were happy to clean it the next day. Bed was comfortable. Only suggestion would be to change their $10 / day coupon for the restaurant to allow for alcoholic drinks. Right now it’s only usable for food. With a drink being almost $20 each I would have had more in the hotel if not for the high price.
Really this trip was excellent Dining, Room, Service, Lounge area, bar, etc.. However, I have 2 issues. 1 If you have a sensitive nose beware - they have a machine that constantly releases a VERY STRONG cologne in the lobby and surrounding areas Bar/dining/lounge that made it impossible for me to fully enjoy any experience in that area. Obviously, I did not expect them to drop everything and change scents that very moment at my behest, but hope my feedback will assist future guests. Consequently, I only mentioned this to the receptionist as feedback during my checkout. 2 The website advertises a courtesy transportation within 2.5 miles of the hotel. That poor man. The "driver" is also the baggage handler and valet. There was exactly 1 one employee handling this task. Because the hotel is central to the city and there is so much to do within the 2.5 mi travel area it really requires additional employees. That's too much to put on one person Teatro! Still the drivers I dealt with were very courteous and professional. I tipped them generously. My review on this service is directed at the hotel not the employees.
Remember to use Hoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any hotel. This site will compare thousands of booking websites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the highest rated in this area. I have been staying here for years. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't be disappointed. We really enjoyed our stay. Hotel space is charming, staff are helpful and friendly, excellent location, complimentary bikes are a big plus. Rooms are on the smaller side but were perfect for us :
