My son loves the idea of this place.  Personally, I think they can do alot better. Long waiting times for any service. The waitress forgot some of our order. Our food came before any napkins or utensils. And it was very dirty where we were seated. I wanted to leave but my son really wanted to stay. It isn't that big of a place but it was 3 hours for just the two of us. Mostly just waiting time. Also, very dirty bathroom. 
It's too bad the previous business closed, they were way better.

Flavorful ramen, crispy tempura, creative fresh sushi, attentive service, eclectic ambiance, centrally located in Pleasure Point, a cozy beach town. We felt unhurried and very relaxed here. We highly recommend this ramen hot spot. Do order the Tonkostsu ramen!

An excellent place with excellent staff. The food here is great for the price. I leave full and satisfied everytime.

I’ve never written a review for a good food, but I’m writing this review for a extraordinary service. There’s one worker who ignored me for a while and the owner( at least he seems like the owner) on the bar is very concerned about my food, and even gave me free samples when it’s not arriving in time (the food actually didn’t take too long). The food it self is pretty good in the context of Santa Cruz. I would recommend everyone to go there.
