Story

At Kalamazoo Strength & Conditioning, located in West Michigan, we are National leaders in health and fitness coaching. We want to help you become the best possible version of you. Offering CrossFit classes, semi-private classes, and private training, as well as specialty programs like remote coaching, sports specific training, barbell club, and yoga, we offer the most professional training environment in the area.

I joined 269 in January 16' and I love it! I have had tremendous progression since Day 1 and its 100% because of the great coaches and fellow cross fitters! Everyone pushes you and supports you each day. I have come to love the people at the gym and working out each morning!!!

From the first conversation I had with Josh I felt like this was where I needed to be! The atmosphere is amazing! Everyone is encouraging and ready to help! I love coming in and being able to feel that I'm improving everyday. I have let go of the "goals" that I wanted and I am letting Crossfit take me where I should be!

I LOVE this place!!! I am a 60 plus,nonathletic, grandma who was not sure this something I could tackle- but desperately wanted to get into shape. Jack and Trinity and their trainers are supportive and so aware of my limitations vs the younger crew that works out there. The people that work out here are accepting and fun. I am so much the better person,physically and mentally for taking the time out to come here!

I moved to Kalamazoo around 5 years ago. I joined a gym, tried P90X, Insanity, but got board of them. I saw a video online about CrossFit, and though that it looked to hard and intimidating. I stopped working out for a while. I was at work talking to a friend and told him I wanted to join a new gym, because all I would do after I got home from work is order pizza and watch TV.  I was feeling horrible, and I wanted to change.  He said you should try CrossFit 269. I watched the videos about CrossFit in the past, and was scared to try it.  I finally got the courage up to go in.  When I first walked in, I was greeted and made to feel at home. Even though I was in the worst shape of the class, I got through the workout. Now, I have been going to CrossFit 269 for over a year, and I have not been in this good of shape for years. What makes CrossFit 269 such an amazing gym is the CrossFit 269 family. It starts with Jack, the owner and head coach. He genuinely cares about his students and is an amazing teacher. He has put together an amazing team of coaches who help you through your weaknesses and improve your strengths. When you first walk into to a CrossFit 269 you will notice, its not your normal gym.  People come up to you a say hi and everyone is friendly.  They make you feel at home, no matter what kind of shape you are in. They support you when your having a bad day and cheer for you when your having a good day. They have become my good friends. I though about joining a CrossFit a year earlier, watch a few videos and thought it was to hard and didn’t go in.  When I finally came in, I wish I had done it sooner.  I may not be able to do everything, but I have improved, and if I can do it, anyone can.  My favorite CrossFit quote is ‘CrossFit, the only sport where you cheer the hardest for the person in last place”. No matter what kind of shape your in CrossFit 269 is worth it.

KSAC (Home of CF 269) has been the gym I call home since December of 2013. Owners Jack and Trinity Kelly run a state of the art facility and head coach Josh Marunde has more passion for helping people reach their goals than anyone I know. KSAC is not only where I go to workout but where I go to surround myself with like-minded people who will be there by my side no matter what. I advise any / everyone come try KSAC if they are searching for a first class experience.
