I wouldn't recommend Doctor Kalkanis to anyone.. This doctor is very rude and doesn't care about his patients.. I when to see doctor Kalkanis 
because I had history of bleed nose and he was very rude to me and make my problem worse then had the never to turn around and bill for
$219.00 when he didn't fix my problem.. Then had the never to turn my account over to a collection agents when I didn't paid him and put a bad mark on my credit report.. How deal Doctor Kalanis he doesn't desert to be paid..

Horrible doctor who doesn't care about the patient or what truly happened in their medical history. Chalks things up to allergies before even looking in my ears nose or throat. Cuts me off mid-sentence. Hands me a printout from web md about another condition instead of even trying to explain what I can do to help it (even though I know because I've had it and allergies for years yet never had the symptoms I came in with). Then hands me a prescription for steroids and says only to follow-up if the steroids don't work (which they didn't but I'll never go back to that doctor again...ever).

Dr. Kalkanis was wonderful. The surgery I had went very well and I was treated well. The billing was atrocious! I just wanted to pay my bill, but the agency is outsourced on the east coast. They kept sending me in circles, connecting me to a voicemail that rarely called back. When they did return my call, they would then connect me with another Voicemail of someone who was supposed to be able to help me, but couldn't. All of this and I was cycled around to the same person I started with who said they couldn't help me. I simply want to pay off a successful surgery. I wasn't asking for payment plans or anything complicated, one lump sum.

I went to him last week after waiting two weeks for my appointment. I was recovering from sinuitius and had ended an antibiotic given from urgent care but my ears were  still feeling plugged and massive pressure in my head for over three weeks! He said my ears looked clear and the pressure test was good and blamed it on TMD or TMJ my jarbone. So I went to the dentist the next day for full xrays and exam and he said it is not my jaw bone and it didn't look like I grinded my teeth like Dr. Kalkanis thought I was doing!  I am so upset. My pain is real and I feel so much pressure in my ears like I'm underwater. I don't know what to do now or how to fix this!!

Seeing Dr. Kalkanis was a life-changing experience for me. I came in for seasonal allergy medication and discovered that my bad stomach issues of the past few years were actually food allergies. I am eternally grateful for the treatment I received at his office. 

There is something bad going on with their billing office, though. Either someone is asleep on the job or perhaps they were transitioning employees. I was told the treatment was 100% covered by my insurance (confirmed with Aetna). But then the billing dept wouldn't provide the insurance with the necessary paperwork, so they didn't cover it. Both Aetna and I attempted to contact them for months regarding this and never received any response.  Now,, more than a year later, I've randomly received another massive bill. 

I'm thankful for my service but I really wish I had gone somewhere else due to the billing headache.
