I came with my family at around 10 am for Sunday brunch. You can't beat the price at $5.95 per person. (You also have to purchase a drink). The selection of items was OK. About 9 hot items, cereal, fruit, and make your own toast station. The quality of the food was decent. The atmosphere was nice. There was a guy playing acoustic guitar and singing, the staff was pleasant, and the restaurant was relatively clean. Business started to pick up around 11am just as we were finishing up. Overall, not a bad experience for the price. As a chef myself, I feel the food was lacking a bit in taste and presentation, but still enjoyable.

My husband and I used to love Kaptain Jimmy's when it opened. The food was always fresh, service was always prompt... In the past year, this just isn't the case. I ordered fish and chips; it tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in far too long. My husband thought the same thing about the taste of his French fries. Also my food came out almost ten minutes sooner than my husband's. The whole restaurant just seems a little tired and sad compared to what it once was. We'll try it again at some point. It's a neat concept, and I hope they improve.

Saw this restaurant from the street and pulled in because of the full parking lot which usually means it is fairly decent.  Captain Jimmy's didn't disappoint.  The waitress provided great service and the food came quick.  We ordered the seafood lobster platter for 2 and OMG it was a lot of food.  My husband and I could not finish it and the price was very hard to beat!   The only negative I would have to give is for the large amount of stuffing in the lobster that was cooked a bit hard, but we split one before packing up the leftovers.  Will definitely try again when I come back to this area.

Fabulous service, delicious food and a wonderful rendition of happy birthday. We had a large party and everyone worked together to get our food out all at the same time. Can't wait to go again.

Went in for drinks and apps on a Friday evening around 5pm and sat on the dining room side to left in the restaurant. The restaurant is huge and was not crowded when we arrived but started to fill up while we were there.  Service was super friendly from start to finish.  Tried the house distilled vodka straight and it was very smooth.  Split a "Lost Island Pupu Platter" with my friend and got more than we expected from this giant app.  Piled high with wings, calamari, nachos and spring rolls it was more than enough for two.  Would return to try something else off the menu another time and would try sitting in the bar area on a return visit just to shake things up.
