In 1910 Haig Kashian and his brother opened a small rug cleaning and repair business in Wilmette. They took great pride in cleaning and restoring area rugs to their original beauty. They provided friendly professional service with a personal touch, often delivering the rugs to their customer’s homes on bicycle.

We remain a community-based business with ties that go back generations with many of our loyal customers. We strive to provide excellence in customer service, quality craftsmanship in everything we do, and competitive pricing backed by knowledgeable, professional, friendly sales people to assist with all of your flooring needs.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a contractor. Everything was going fine when one of the employees came to view our small condo. He said they could get the job done in 1.5 days and it would be "no problem". He also said we could leave our 3 pieces of furniture there and they would move them. When our schedule time came, the 1 worker was 4 hours late. They only sent 1 person to work it. I called and complained as this 1 person made me move furniture with him, throwing out my back. The employee said he would add more people to get the job done. When I came back in a few hours there was still only 1 person and he had ripped the newly painted walls up with moving furniture and had put my $2,000 couch (which is now ruined) on the balcony in the rain. I received a fine from the condo association for "having a couch on the balcony" which is absurd. I visited the owner and he seemed nice and assured me the job would get done. But, there never was more than 1 person assigned to me. The entire job ended up taking 3 days and we were late to make the photographer for putting our home on the market. I then noticed that they had made multiple scratches in the floor and covered them up with furniture. We paid extra for "strong" hard wood and yet there were several scratches and scraps. TERRIBLE!!! Don't use!

Above and beyond my expectations, the service was great the people were very friendly. They brought my old rugs back to life they were even able to repair it, I will deffinetly be a repeat customer Thanks!

This is a phenomenal company that really gets customer service, and does an excellent job cleaning rugs and upholstery. We have two mischievous dogs, and we need cleaning services fairly often. Kashian Bros. recently cleaned our upholstered furniture, and it looks new. Their personnel are polite, professional and efficient, and it is a pleasure having them in our home.

Great place for flooring and the carpet cleaning department is spectacular.

For installation of a new dishwasher we needed to remove part of the hardwood floor in front of the old one and then replace it after the new one was installed. The job done was great - actually perfect. You cannot even see the transition from the floor that was redone to the part that was not removed or refinished. I had thought to try doing this myself and we are very glad I did not do that. Kashian work was outstanding - with excellent clean-up after they were done.
