We are a family-owned and operated business, and have been serving the Wilmette community since 1931. All dry-cleaning is done personally by Kurt, not sent to an off-site location. You will always find an owner present as well as our friendly staff.

Went to Wilmette Tailors & cleaners on Thursday, we had a death in the family and need a suit, and two dresses for the service. I needed them quick so I asked what was the soonest? The woman went to get the owner just to be sure. 
I was able to get them the next day on Friday! I really needed them by Saturday, but Rita the owner said we will have them Friday by 3:00.
She said better to have them in hand sooner than later, that I had other things to worry about.
I had tears in my eyes as I drove away.
Having that drive up window was perfect for my situation, I did not have to walk out & anyone see me cry.

I don't usually write reviews, but today is an exception.  I have been going to Wilmette Tailor and Cleaners for about 15 years.  They have always done exactly as I requested by cleaning my clothes in a timely fashion.  But, today when picking up my clothes, there was a note attached.  I assumed it was something about not being able to completely remove a stain, but no......it was a note saying I had left $50 cash in my pocket.  So, today, I received my cleaning and $50.00!  That was awesome!!!  Not only does my cleaner do a good job cleaning, but they are also trustworthy and honest. (Through the years, pins have been returned that I had left on clothes too.) Wilmette Cleaners & Tailors are THE BEST!
