Went into the store with my husband to find a Levian piece after loosing my engagement ring and the staff was amazing! By far the most helpful jewelry store I have ever been to. They were extremely helpful and went beyond their job to ensure I was nothing but happy and pleased with the purchase. I would highly recommend this Kay to everyone.

I went to Kay Jewelers because I was shopping for a gift for my daughters 18th Birthday and I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted.  Though the sales girl was very nice, she did nothing to help me pick something out.  She handed me two large books to look through and then wrote my order down on a very small piece of paper once I decided what I wanted, which was a special order necklace.  That was problem #1.  Kay Jewelers does not have a computer system.  Everything is written on a piece of paper.  I was feeling very uneasy about the accuracy of my order but followed through with it anyway.  That night the sales girl called me to tell me she forgot to charge me the deposit for my order and I had to come into the store to pay before anything could be ordered.  The next day I went in to find that my order had been completely trashed and I had to start all over again with a new sales girl (again, very friendly).  This girl promised that my order would be accurate and in on time for my daughters birthday a little more than two weeks later.  Two days later I received a phone call from yet another sales associate to tell me my order was in and ready to be picked up.  Confused about how my order could be in so quickly when I was having it engraved, he proceeded to tell me that the charm I ordered was in but it was blank and I could come pick it up.  I went in to the store and worked with the store manager who again needed to cancel my entire order and start over again.  She apologized and said the order was not placed correctly the first two times but it would be this time and I would have the necklace on time for my daughters birthday.  The afternoon of the day I was told the necklace would be available for pickup, I called to check on the order.  I was told the order could not be found.  After speaking with another store manager, I was told she found my order in a pile of papers but it wouldn't be in for another 5 days.  After explaining the fiasco that had been going on, she told me she would have the order overnighted to be ready for pick up by 11am.  The next day I called at 12pm only to be told the order was still not there.  I went to the store at 2pm to get my money back only to be told my order was in fact in the store.  I ultimately got the necklace I wanted and my daughter loved it, but the entire experience was way more drama then I care to ever go through again.  I am a pretty easy going person.  It's takes a lot for me to get upset, but this experience nearly sent me over the edge.  I have never worked with a group of so many incompetent people and I don't ever plan to again.  If you choose to shop at this particular Kays, good luck to you.
