The teriyaki is by far the best I've had. This place is way to underrated more people need to go and see how good the food and service is. Definitely will be going back maybe tomorrow.

The food here is fantastic. The place is always clean. The service is excellent, but often a little slow for “express” food. This is probably the best place for Japanese style food in the Mauldin area. I would recommend this place to anyone! Only been here for dinner so I don’t know what the lunch service is like. The sweet carrots are delicious and the gyoza is super good!

Kazoku Japanese Express occupies the old Arby's location in Mauldin. The owners are very nice and eager to earn your repeat business. The dining room is very clean and inviting and the food is prepared to order and affordably priced. Their carrots are amazing and included with your entree. Overall, high quality food coupled with affordable prices makes Zazoku a must try if you're in the Mauldin area.

The people are so nice it's a mom dad and her daughter doing what they love and it shows in the food that they prepare for you.
