My family & I were looking for a good place to eat in the Stockbridge area,could not agree on anything. Finally I googled Japanese & Kazu popped up close to the hotel. Not easy to find but glad we did. This was the best Asian restaurant we have ever dined. Everything was fresh & cooked expertly. Best egg rolls, crab Rangoon, sushi, General Tao chicken, pepper steak, fried chicken rice, hibachi shrimp, & finally fried banana with whipped cream for dessert. We are from out of town & were treated like family. The matriarch is very attentive & motherly. We wish we had a place like this closer to home. Best Asian cuisine for very little money.

I have been going here for the past few years on and off, and I will not be returning if I can help it. The service is usually lacking, but I did not mind as much until the last time I went. The prices had gone up for the same quality sushi. Furthermore, they took over 35 minutes for the two sushi rolls (there was no one else in the restaurant at the time) and messed up the order, which meant I had to send in back and wait longer. I asked for a discount, and the young cashier (not the usual older woman) apologized and went to the back to ask for said discount. Immediately, I could here the older woman and a man yelling at the top of their lungs at her simultaneously, as though she had done something wrong. Needless to say, I did not get the discount, and instead of using a new to go box for the corrected order, they used the same one, which left the sauces from the wrong sushi to get on my meal. Also, to get the meal corrected took under 5 minutes, so what the heck took so long the first time? Ridiculous. I will travel a bit farther to go elsewhere and get cheaper, better quality food with much better customer service.

Absolutely horrible.  They first time they took 3 hours to deliver my to go order. When it finally arrived it was discusting. I called to complain and the “owner” kept hanging up on me.  I tried again 2 weeks later. Once again delivery was over an hour late so I showed up at the restaurant to be told by the delivery guy on the phone he was picking up his kids and had my sushi in the backseat and would be there soon.   No customer  horrible food. DO NOT EAT HERE

Some of the best Sushi ever. Soups are good, egg rolls are made as ordered so no cold greasy egg roll. Odd how some of the best places are in the smaller towns.
