I've used Keela before for senglenase twists and they came out great but I was completely appalled and shocked at the level of unprofessionalism this time around. 

I made an appointment for sengelenase twists and paid my $40 deposit (as directed) to hold/confirm my appointment. One week prior to my appointment, I received a text from Keela regarding weave. I responded to the text and informed her that she texted the wrong person and that my appointment was in one week for twists. She responded and said "okay I'll see you then."

TWO DAYS (yes TWO DAYS!) prior to my appointment, I receive a text from Keela stating that she "just realized" that I booked an appointment for twists and she "doesn't do them anymore." I explained that I booked my appointment months ago and was relying on her to do my hair as I would be leaving for a vacation soon. I also explained that I did not have a backup plan. Instead of apologizing and offering to keep my appointment since the confusion was on her end, she simply told me that someone in her shop could box braid my hair. I explained that I did not want box braids (which is why I booked a twist appointment with her). I asked if anyone in her shop could do senglanese twists and she said that no one in her shop did them (only box braids and crotchet braids). It was obvious she didn't care!   

At this point, I was on the verge of tears (and livid). I use Another Look Salon here in Sacramento for my general hair care (washing, styling, weaving) and Tracy and her team have never failed me so I called them praying for a miracle. I explained my dilemma and their braider said she could get me in if I didn't mind coming in early on a Saturday morning! THANK GOD! 

I honestly can't believe that Keela would cancel my appointment TWO DAYS prior. And like I said before, she did my hair twice so it's not that she did now know how to do the twists, she simply chose not to do them even after I explained how I booked months ago, paid my deposit and was relying on her services. It's unfortunate that someone could be so uncaring, inconsiderate and unprofessional. 

I will NEVER return and I'll be posting this review in as many places as possible to ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else! 

Oh! And to add insult to injury, she not once apologized for ANY of this!
