I would very highly recommend Dr Josh. He is pleasant, caring and trustworthy. He would never suggest that anyone come for adjustments more than what's necessary just so that he could make more money which is common with some chiropractor's offices. There are many chiropractors in this area and I have been to several in the past. However, I could not recommend Dr Josh highly enough!

I just made my new mommy tour appointment and I am thrilled to go visit the facility. The lady that answered the phone was very sweet and encouraging. She was professional and took time to answer all of my questions. Even though we had different personal opinions on vaccinations and breastfeeding she still encouraged and supported my views and wants for my child. If my visit is anything like my phone call I will be a long time patient at Kennesaw Pediatrics.

I started taking my son to Dr. Long when he was 7 years old. By the time he was 10 he was complaining about his back hurting and Dr. Long kept saying he was just fat. He even did exams of his back and spine and stated they were normal. I have the medical records to prove all of this. By the time my son was 15 he was in terrible pain and was unable to run in football and he developed stretch marks at the top of his back and a visible bump. I wanted to run him to Dr. Long and he begged me not to take him there so I took him to another doctor who was in shock. My son had an acute case of Kyphosis that was never diagnosed by Dr. Long even though my son had been complaining for years. My son had to quit football. He was devastated. I was told he needed rods put in his back to support it. Our doctor said this was the worst case of Kyphosis he had seen in the United States and could not believe my son's pediatrician had never diagnosed it and made him wear a back brace. Too late, my son's life is ruined. We went to the Shriner's, where Surgery was offered but the risk of pain and possible corrective surgery as he grew caused us to decline. When I called medical malpractice attorneys, they said the doctor was protected by Tort Reform. This doctor ruined my son's life and gets away with it because of tort reform. My son has an extremely acute bend/hump on his back. Our doctor stated that in 3rd world countries where they have poor medical knowledge or lack of competent doctors, this is common but here my son should have been treated since he was young with a brace. Tort reform protects this doctor but I want other people to know what he did to my son. Shriner's only helps until adulthood and then a new surgery would be needed. My son will eventually need the surgery to support his upper back, it is bent and he uses his muscles to hold up his upper back and head. This is painful and strenuous at all times. It also inhibits my son's breathing having the intrusion from his back being bent over his chest. This is why he was not able to run like the other boys in football. He really tried. He was always athletic as a young child. I have friends who have Kyphosis and they are 20 years older than my son and yet wore a brace when they were growing up to help their spine not to bend out of control and it helped. But not my son, 20 years later. It isn't like this is a new problem that doctors don't know about. I am in my mid 50s and the kids in my school wore back braces when I was growing up. Who is going to pay for my son's surgery when he is through growing? As an adult he will not be covered by the Shriner's but it is best to wait until he is through growing to have the surgery. My son's life has been limited because of this doctor. I am so sad for my son. I have the medical records in my possession showing my son complained and showing that Dr. Long said he was fat and that his spine was normal. It wasn't normal. I am not a doctor so I never knew what was wrong. I trusted Dr. Long who had education. When I took my son to the new doctor when he was 15, it looked like he had a tumor in his back, it was so bad. The new doctor was shaking his head in disbelief and asked if my son had seen a pediatrician when he was growing up. I told him my son had regularly seen a doctor who always said his back hurt because he was fat. I have photos showing my son was stocky, not fat. He has a large bone frame. If I had never taken him to the doctor, I would be blaming myself but I took him regularly.
