I’m rating it 3 stars JUST based on what I had. Would love to go back and try some other things for sure. I got an iced coffee, it was alright…and a GF brownie that was also just “alright” wasn’t anything I’d get again. Barista was friendly & the place is super cute and fun inside, seems like a lovely option to hang with the girls. They also have a kids menu, that’s nice and places to sit outside too. I would definitely go back and try some other foods.
Ah man I had THE highest hopes for Ketchie Creek! But alas. Got the Arnold Palmer, a cappuccino and a lemon bar. The AP was way too sweet . The cappuccino was nothing to write home about and it was half empty when the barista handed it to me. Soooo. Yeah. But it was the lemon bar that did me in: inedible. I took one bite and threw it out. It was stale and completely crusted over. And what I expected to be a gooey tart but sweet lemony center was…. Bland, half hardened gelatin with the faintest hint of lemon candy you know, the fake lemony taste candies have. I couldn’t eat it. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day! But I’ll definitely try some other stuff if I swing back through!
Super excited to visit this bakey for few months now. Hubby and I are lunch at First Watch and made sure we have enough room for coffee and dessert. Soon as I ask the lady in the register who is their coffee roaster. No idea what kind of coffee they offer is not surprising for a bakery but for a cafe it's a no. No. So we still order a black coffee with our oreo cake and soon as sip the coffee we knew this is not a cafe for us. Look warm coffee and very sour. So we decided to give the latte a try. Get even more disappointed. I never tasted latte that sour. So I ask again who is their roaster and said its Fortuna. Don't know much about them more than Joe van gogh, Larry's beans and of course Carolina Coffee. - advised maybe they need to switch coffee. Let's give them a review for bake goods. Display case for Saturday is very week. Not much options and a lot of empty space. When we order slice Oreo cake I specifically told them it's for here. We don't like eating in plastic container and want to enjoy food properly. And gave us a smush cake and very unpleasant presentation of their service. images below so we decided to just l. We love supporting small and local businesses but this type of service is a no. No Now the experience become unpleasant. Hope management will take this review as a friendly feedback room for improvement.
This place is so clean and has everything you need, either it being healthy or not, you can have it all here!! The Oreo chocolate cheesecake is what I’m coming back for next!!:
Ketchie Creek Bakery Clemmons Takeout Edition.. So I think this place is so cute, and the concept of getting a sandwich, salad, kinds of pasta, and dessert in one spot is always great in my book. I just feel the food is missing a pinch of something. Now their desserts are so tasty. I enjoy their chocolate chip cookies and pecan tarts. The service is always fast and swift, and the staff provides your food with a smile. I think I will continue to come here but for their delicious sweets and that's it.
I wanted coffee and was super close to Ketchie Creek in Clemmons, so I stopped by. I got a 20oz. Amaretto Latte and a Cherry Cream Horn that was not on my diet, lol. I have to say that Cream Horn was heavenly and delicious, & the latte was a perfect accompanying beverage! The cost was under $9... I'm going to make this my coffee spot in Clemmons. They offer a good selection of beverages and so many tasty desserts! They offer breakfast Muffins, quiche, oatmeal, and giant cinnamon rolls. They make deli-style sandwiches and wraps with a good variety of bread & loads of trimmings. They have numerous sides dishes to choose from and a lot of salad options with around 9 different dressings. They do indeed have a kids menu. They make cupcakes, poundcakes, dessert, and layer cakes to order or by the slice they had at least 8 varieties when I was perusing my options. They also offer a large selection of individual desserts cookies, brownies, Cream Horns, eclairs, coconut macaroons oh my, and the list goes on and on! Stop by the Clemmons or Mocksville, NC locations for a quick pick me up or a taste bud adventure. You won't be sorry!
Have a friend that says her mom has been driving over 30 mins to Mocksville location for years to buy her birthday cakes. Found myself in Clemmons and decided to stop in and try the products myself. I sampled the chocolate chip creme cookie and a red eye. Both were really good. The staff is super nice and most helpful and patient in making suggestions and their favorite items. The bathrooms unisex are spotless. After picking up my party at Davie Medical center they wanted lunch so we went back and grabbed a couple sandwiches. They dont currently offer IN-HOUSE dining so we got them to go. They were good sandwiches. They offer doggie treats for sale and their outdoor dining is very nice and dog friendly. They make the French bread and croissants in-house for sandwiches. BONUS THEY OFFER TOPO CHICO WATER AND MORE IMPORTANTLY THE LIME VERSION WHICH I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYWHERE!!!
Needed a last minute birthday cake so I ran by here and grab one for my husband and it was wonderful. Service was great. Cake was wonderful.
I came to this location today for a snack and drink and to sit and do homework. But the vibes were weird from the moment I walked in. There was no guidance on where to order - there’s 3 locations that say “Order Here” but nobody was standing at either of them. Eventually I just stood at 1 near the door and waited nearly 5 minutes just standing up near the register. I wasn’t acknowledged by any of the 4 girls up there. One was busy making coffee and looked straight at me and didn’t say “hello” or “someone will be with you momentarily”. I won’t ever be coming here again.
Cream cheese muffin + cappuccino. Monday start up! First time @ this spot and no regret in dropping, in! Peaceful environment, friendly employees. I will return, surely! Thanks.
