Great place to take a hike, go for a run, fish from the pier, or have a family picnic. Miles of trails take you from lakeshore to high hardwood ridges and the observation tower; from which you can see for miles in every direction.

Great outdoor opportunities for myriad activities, many state park campgrounds to choose from. Unique terrain to explore along the Ice Age Trail.

Relatively flat section of the Ice Age Trail. Scenic walk along the Oconomowoc River and some rehabilitated prairies. Also had a few gorgeous overlooks. Two road walks were the only distracting features of this section.
