Mission

A must see destination...

Killarney Provincial Park, Class: "Wilderness Park Designation” is considered the crown jewel of the Ontario park system, and is one of the most popular canoeing, kayaking and hiking destinations in Ontario.

Its gleaming quartzite mountains, [Sliver Peak 1765ft / 538m ASL] clear topaz lakes, hardwood forests, clinging pines and challenging trails make Killarney Provincial Park a very special preserved wilderness that you can explore and enjoy.

Abundant wildlife including many species of Birds, Beaver, Otter, Whitetail Deer, Moose, Bear, and Wolves (squirrels' every ware,) are frequently viewed. And don't forget the striking pink granite shorelines of our protected Georgian Bay coast line, great fishing!

Phillip Edward Island and the Georgian Bay 'Littoral" are ranked amongst some of the worlds finest expedition sea kayaking destinations, or canoe tripping for that matter...no portaging required! Also, the fishing here is the best on the Georgian Bay coast, large and small mouth bass, northern pike, muskie, rainbow trout, lake trout and lots of perch.

Killarney Outfitters has over forty years of experience steering visitors to the most desirable and sought-after canoe, kayak and hiking routes and trails within Killarney Provincial Park and Georgian Bay.

Rented two kayaks and had them shuttled to Chikanishing. Would have preferred having an employee there when we arrived in the morning to help us with the kayaks and answer questions. This was our first time kayaking in a large body of water. When we started off, the waters were calm and easy to navigate but then after an hour, the wind quickly changed and the water became very choppy. As we headed back, the size of the waves increased making it extremely difficult to paddle. Luckily, we took notice of the wind change when we did; otherwise, we may have been stranded. Overall, the scenery was extraordinary.
