I been there many time before, but this was our first time since the new owners. We spent a weak there last summer, If you love camping it is the place to go. Its pet friendly and that was a main reason, why we choose them. There are many things to see on the island, but if you have children and want to spend a day in the camping there are many activities inside the campground too. Definitely will go back there.

Nice Lakeside location but showing its age in the condition of the amenities. Canada geese and turkey vultures seen regularly. Perfect spot for stargazers due to big sky and no light pollution.

Very friendly staff. Cottages are showing signs of wear but meet all the requirements for a good night's sleep. Full sized fridge, some utensils and dishes a kettle and coffe maker were a pleasent surprise. Reasonable prices.

Beautiful RV site right next to the lake. Service was hassle free and no hidden/unexpected charges. Other campers seemed quiet even before required at midnight.

Love this place!!!!! Been coming here for 3 years now. One time around 11oclock we were parked on the little round about they have for the kids could watch a movie while the rest of the family went fishing and one of the owners stopped by with there golf cart and just wanted to make sure we wernt lost or if we needed help....we diddent. But that was verry kind of them to check up. Great place for kids , have a waterslide and giant playground.
