Story

World famous and destination Guitar Shop with something for everyone, from beginner to pro. We are a regular stop for touring bands, and some of the musical elite are our customers. We have found and sold some of the most important vintage guitars ever discovered, and are always looking for the next one!!!
We believe everyone has the right to know what they have and what it is worth. We also don't have the time to remember lies. We Buy, Sell, Trade, Consign, and Repair/Restore all guitars and amplifiers. We also have a very good pedal repair guy......how cool is that?
And yes, we are the creators of the world famous politically incorrect Killer Vintage T-Shirt designs. Everyone is always welcome in our house!

Like family, but without the drama. These folks are people who treat the customer with not just respect but kindness and honesty. The shop is an immaculate contraption: meaning it has the fairytale magic for this guitarist that the old toy stores used to have for me when I was a kid: it is organized chaos in a very tight space. A singularity in the known guitar universe. (Stars actually visit THEM) They know where everything is at, sure, and you could cheat and ask, but the looking for one thing will lead to the discovery of another! Don’t cheat life, don’t look for answers, let the answers find you. Visiting Killer Vintage is a zen experience of its own kind. Become enlightened, visit today (never Sunday).

I bought a beautiful old 1969 Gibson ES-150 jazz guitar from these guys. Service has always been helpful and knowledgeable. It's a low-key place and the staff isn't pushy. Obviously, ideal for vintage gear. This is not Guitar Center.

Fell on some hard and personal financial times recently, and knew I had to part with one of my acoustic gems. Knew who to call immediately. I met Mr Hinson at his St Louis shop about 8-10 yrs back, and he looked me straight in the eyes and said if I ever wanted to sell, to please call him...could have done it myself via internet to anyone, but I wanted this vintage acoustic to end up in someone’s hands who will play, care for this guitar, and love it as much as I did for 15 years. Dave was out of town taking care of business at the new Dallas shop at the time, but his top/notch staff gave me a fair deal. Mark knows his stuff. Bryan and Steve were just as kind and professional. I couldn’t be more happy! If you are interested in selling or buying in the midwest-this is where you go. What a bunch of great people!!! -Jason
