The food was fine. Nothing was particularly memorable but at the same time nothing was terrible. Service was a little slow considering there were as many tables as servers when we were dining (off-peak hours). It looks like they also do musical performances and they definitely have the Bavarian theme going for them. I would try them again if I come back to Leavenworth and will update accordingly but overall came away fairly unimpressed.

They were swamped with people, yet we were seated within 15 minutes of arrival. We we're waited on immediately. The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants authentic German food. There was also live music.

Took forever to get someone to take our drink order. Apple cider tasted just like warm vaguely applely water and potatoes were not salted at all. After received order, no one came to check on us. Additionally, they do not accept discover cards.

I used to live in Germany and this is the most authentic German restaurant ive found since moving to the states. The atmosphere and decor are spot on. And the food is definitely German and delicious.

To begin with, the service was poor. We waited for far too long in the narrow hallway that is the entrance to this eatery. Meanwhile, a staff member was busy shuffling receipts etc. through an adjacent doorway and completely ignored us. No greeting. No smile. Very unwelcoming. I finally asked him if someone would be coming to seat us and he said to wait where we were and someone would get to us. Finally, another staff member seated us and we ordered. The portions were tiny. I ordered the hot sausage and the single link on my plate was pathetically small. All of the entrees at our table were similarly inadequate and when we left, we were all still hungry and very disappointed (a half hour later, we grabbed a sandwich at a fast food place). Tiny portions, mediocre food, and a poor value. Never again!
