Story

Centrally located in the heart of Downtown Vancouver, close to restaurants, theatres, shopping and only 3 blocks from BC Place and Rogers Arena. The Kingston Hotel was built in 1910 and is a restored, family owned and operated, European style budget boutique hotel. Amenities include free wireless internet, public computer access, sauna, coin laundry and day storage. All rooms include a continental breakfast.

Really excellent little place. We got a room with a private bath, but there are also rooms with shared communal showers and washrooms on each floor. It's a great old rooming house turned into a pretty nice little hotel. Each room has one key (make sure you remember to lock the door when you leave your room, the doors do not lock automatically) that you turn into the desk when you leave the building, and pick up when you come back. They offer a continental breakfast in a cute breakfast room, and 15% off meals in the adjacent restaurant. Bed and pillows are super comfy, and everything is very clean. Don't go expecting a chic contemporary experience, everything here feels quaint and homey. Very comfortable.

Unique, old-fashioned hotel. Tiny rooms and shared bathrooms. This may seem as a downside, but the experience is great

Lovely place, cozy, and with a bit of an old-school flair. We had one of the rooms which had its own washroom. The location is excellent, breakfast is good (comes with fresh bagels). I can see how it's slightly inconvenient if you don't have your own bathroom. Staff was really nice and pleasant.
