Story

We are glad you came. Kirk Funeral Home officially opened its doors in Rapid City on August 14, 1998. That day brought the realization of a vision. The dream was, and is, to provide a loving, beautiful environment where you may say good-bye to your family member with all the dignity and respect that you deserve.

We have created a state-of-the-art facility that is specifically suited for funeral service. The sensitive ambiance of our Chapel of Light provides a unique blend of warmth and openness that families have found to be a source of comfort. We have recently expanded our chapel to better accommodate your family and friends with seating for 200.

Our new arrangement room and selection room were designed to give you ideas of how services may be personalized for the unique individual that your loved one was. We would love to show you how to best display a life well lived.

At Kirk Funeral Home our primary duty is to ensure that all possible care, respect, and spiritual comfort is given to each and every family during their time of loss.
