I am a would-be do-it-yourselfer who often gets in over my head.  At times I don't even know what to call the gizmo I want to find, or even if there IS one!  These folks are great!  They help me look through their extensive shelves, and if I can't find exactly what I'm looking for, they suggest other ways that I might complete my project.  The guys out back will cut lumber for me so I can get in my car, and they will even help me pick out the best pieces!  I couldn't have built my pergola without them!

As a new resident of Ellensburg I had to find my go-to places for goods and services. I've been very pleased with my experiences at Knudson Lumber. I can almost always get what I need for all sort of home projects and the staff has been excellent in their customer service. I say this from the standpoint of having worked several years in retail hardware.

Excellent place for lumber and common tools.  Entire staff is amazingly helpful and prices are reasonable.  I've been happy with the quality of lumber which appears to be a grade above what is found in the big box stores.
