While shopping at the Fort Collins store today, the elderly man who was checking me out refused to give me the 15 % discount available to all shoppers regardless of whether or not they use their Kohl’s charge card to pay for their purchase. I did not want to use my Kohl’s charge. I spend many thousands of dollars a year at this store and knew this was incorrect and told him so. Still he refused and made no effort to verify with someone who actually knew. After pleading my case with him several times,  I told him to just cancel my purchase and walked out the door. I shop at Kohl’s because of the great discounts and if the advertised discount isn’t honored, I won’t anymore.  Before walking out I went to customer service just to verify that I was correct that I could get the 15% off on my purchase regardless of whether or not I chose to use my Kohl’s charge and was told that I absolutely did not have to use kohl’s charge to get the discount. Please educate your cashiers on your own discount policies. I shop at Kohl’s often but don’t know when I’ll be back.

I hate this store. Talk about marking things up just to mark them down and make people think that they are getting a deal.   Every time I give this place another try I laugh at the prices. If you know the prices of things at other stores you know that they mark stuff up here a lot! They always have sales going on but it's because they've marked everything up. People who shop here are getting conned.

The shopping was great as  usual but when it came time to check out, the associate that I got was super slow and talked way too much. I told her the clothes, (little girls shorts) didn't need to be folded so fancy.  I then received a Five minute dissertation on how to fold clothes and then how her daughter worked in a lay away dept, how she could pack so much in such a small box. I REALLY DIDN'T NEED TO KNOW THIS! I am on my 30 lunch and arrived back to work,  (just down the street)  7 min late.  I also made a payment first,  then I paid for my clothes with my debit card.  She asked if I had a Kohls card!!! REALLY,  YOU JUST HELPED ME WITH A PAYMENT.  Maybe she would be best fitted someplace away from the register. Maybe in  the back!
