Delicious and lively with great service on a weekday.  Showed up at 11:30, and the restaurant quickly filled up.  Rolling carts full of hot and tasty dim sum made my tummy super happy!  Great selection of dumplings and all kinds of authentic Chinese dishes, clean (including the restrooms), and nicely decorated.  I also liked how the food servers wore masks for sanitary reasons...nice touch.  For two people, we spent approximately $45 and had a really nice selection of dumplings! A little on the pricey side, but well worth it!

Nice place, good atmosphere, good service (there are a lot of waiters) and the food is pretty good. The honey walnut prawns are some of the best I've had, and the other Cantonese dishes are generally good. The portions are fairly large too. It's pretty expensive though, normal dishes are around $25. This place also has exotic foods like abalone and birds nest, which I would steer clear of (but I imagine this place might be famous for this stuff).

Expect a long wait on the weekend even with a reservation.  Go early.  Core staples are good.  Soup dumplings are fine but the skin is thick so probably not hand made.

The food is good but the service is terrible. We called Koi Palace in advance to make sure to we don’t have to wait too long since my wife is PREGNANT. The lady who answered the phone call said it would be around 15-20 mins for two people. However, when we arrived and asked for a number. Koi palace refused to give the waiting number. They claimed there were 60+ tables ahead of us and there’s no way we can make it. Then why you told us to come in the first place? Just to show how crowd your place? My wife is 37 weeks pregnant and Koi palace tricked the customers like kids. Won’t ever believe their words again!

One of the best dim sum restaurants in the bay. Always a long line so grab a # and hangout. There is usually a longer wait for smaller parties vs larger parties. We had to wait about 35 mins for a party of 8. Other times with a party of 2-4 would take over an hour. 

Try the chicken feet! 👍
