Been to this little Japanese restaurant a few times now, although they are small in size, they have very good flavor and variety. As of the writing of this review, they are still fairly new and they are working on their internal organization with regards to seat to eat timing. All of their food has been very good so far, every time I try something new and I'm never disappointed. I love Sushi and this restaurant doesn't disappoint. They take great care not only with the food preparation but also the presentation of the food is high class. I do believe you won't be disappointed if you go visit them, just be a little patient on getting your drink and the speed as to which your food is delivered.
Small but great spot to get some delicious Japanese style food. They have lots to choose from, and one of the best Pork Chashu bowls I’ve ever had. We also tried a fried calamari with sweet and sour sauce appetizer, a shrimp tempura roll, and ramen, all of which were delicious and reasonably priced. It’s a very small and closely packed dining area, but the service is nice and the ambiance is great. Definitely a good spot in the Woodlands area to get reasonably priced and good portioned Japanese food.
Spicy Beef Ramen Bowl was really really good!! You can watch them make your rolls!! Happy Hour is from 3pm-6pm for drinks and rolls ,but I don't recommend that you partake in the HOT SAKE it is not on the tasty side. Would've been a five if the Hot Sake was better!!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
I love this place so much! My husband and I come here every Sunday. The shaggy dog was the best we’ve had, and the sushi is always fresh and tasteful. Definitely recommended!
Absolutely delicious food, have eaten here numerous times and every single time the food is excellent! The flavor and presentation of all their items are amazing!!!! Small place so sitting is a bit limited but definitely worth the wait. No more than 10 minutes. This is a true hidden gem worth trying out! It will not disappoint.
Magnifico! I started off with a simple pork egg roll and I dared to try their “monkey brain” which turned out to be quite exquisite! It’s now my new favorite item at this joint. Then I finished her off with the black garlic chicken ramen and added chili oil to it with a seasoned egg. $30 meal that did me justice on this chilly evening after working all day in the rain! I can’t wait to try their sushi rolls! They definitely have a wide variety and the vibe is awesome! The service was exceptionally well, attentive, and speedy!
I went here about a week ago with my husband and daughter. Our server’s name was Ivy, and she was so helpful and nice! We ordered the Temptation Roll for an appetizer it was so amazing, my husband and I each got Bento boxes, and mochi for dessert. My daughter was being very loud and disruptive, and they were very nice about it. Amazing staff and food!
Three stars for the good sushi, but the hibachi chicken was trash. The fried rice is plain and flavorless and so is the chicken. Just go to Kobe for your hibachi!
Food: Salmon sashimi was decent. Tuna sashimi wasn’t too fresh. Salmon roe sushi roll was good Amazing tuna roll had a weird tasting sauce- ocean sauce Temptation roll was good. Despite there being two tables free, we were made to wait for 20 minutes. The server we had today was inattentive and rarely ever visited us to see if we wanted something. After waiting for a long time we were forced to call upon other waiters to get something ordered. We have been to this restaurant before and the food and service were better. 2 star rating ** Visit on July 12 ** Food is 80% as tasty as Bluefish; 45% cheaper than Bluefish. Great value. We had: Top row: tuna and salmon sashimi Middle row: dancing eel roll Bottom row: Takoyaki octopus and salmon roe 4 star rating. Since Google doesn’t let me post multiple reviews, I will adjust the rating of this restaurant to the average score of 3 stars
The ramen is truly top notch. The broth is rich and flavorful, but the overall presentation has enough brightness to not feel too heavy. It is absolutely delicious.
