I agree with other reviews that this is one of the best authentic Thai restaurants I have EVER been to. One reason I will always look forward to coming to Vegas, it's hard to go anywhere else when you find a gem like this. I'm greeted with a smile at the front counter by the owner, who has been here in the same location for 32 years cooking authentic Thai family recipes that smell and taste amazing. As I wait for my takeout I compliment him on his unbelievably extensive menu, so he offers me a Thai iced tea and runs to get it for me ("on the house", he says). It would take a year to try everything on this menu, there are over 80 vegetarian options alone, plus seafood, fish, lobster, duck, prawn, soft shell crab and all the traditional stuff with endless options and combinations. Everything I've had there has been absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked with an amazing combination of spices and flavors, clean food with no MSG. Portions are generous and the presentation and service are excellent. I will tell many people about this fantastic restaurant that's definitely in my top 10. Do yourself a favor and GO HERE instead of the more expensive spot with many fewer options right next door. Thank you again for the wonderful meal and I will certainly be back (maybe tomorrow).

I got here for the first time. The restaurant makes me think of real authentic Thai food in Thailand. We came with friends who are vegetarian and they were so happy and grateful. They have their specific part of vegetarian menu and we all did enjoy a lot even I am not a vegetarian. Other non-vegetarian food are awesome too. Just WOW.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant to visit each time I am in town. My husband and I literally had a meal here each of the 4 days we were in town once. No lie. Okay, the place doesn't look that special and it is in a bit of a creepy area off the strip, but the food... THE FOOD is the bomb! Now, as you may know, I am vegan. There are as many vegan dishes as there are regular dishes. My favorites are #1 Herbal Salad. It's the best thing I've ever had. No joke. The pineapple rice is delicious. It's the only place that I've tried this dish that does not use curry. They use a tomato base. Good stuff. Today I tried the appetizer sample with fried veggies, egg rolls, tofu and fried spinach. It was good. I also tried the Pad Thai. Also good. So next time you're in the area, you should make the effort to stop by.

Our family is both Vegan and Carnivores so this place was a blessing in disguise. From start to finish the service was great. The appetizers were perfect and entrees....well let's just say I couldn't stop eating. Number five on the spice scale was perfect. Just enough bite to know it's there but not too much to take away from the curry flavor. If this place was on the strip you'd probably wait outside in a long line for a table. Best Thai food I've ever had. Wish they could open one in St. Pete Florida!!!! If I could give 10 stars I definitely would. Thank you Komol Restaurant for a great family night out and the tasteful dishes you serve.

As a vegan I had a good experience, I was with family who also eats meat heavily. We were all taken care of and served with in 10 minutes. I had chow mein as photos and my wife had green curry. We have also had the Indian (yellow curry) and vegan pad Thai. All were great dishes with great flavor. My mother in law had the meat combo and enjoyed it as well. It's located in a plaza with many other things, some open some closed. Servers were nice, bathrooms were clean, no complaints all around.
